Pray with us
At St John's, prayer is at the heart of everything we do. We believe God is doing something new in Archway, and we want to join in with him by asking him, together, to pour out his Spirit on our church, our parish and our neighbours.
You don't need to be an expert. Jesus' own friends said, "Lord, teach us to pray", and we're learning together. Some of us pray out loud and some in silence, and there's room for both.
Join us before the Sunday service at 10:30am, receive prayer at any of our services, come to a Prayer Walk, a Prayer and Worship Night or the Evening Prayer, or find a friend to pray with regularly.
Jesus promised that "where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Pre-service prayer

We go on monthly prayer walks of our parish. First Sunday of the month, after the service.

We meet fortnightly on Monday evenings to pray for our church and community. See events for upcoming dates.
Prayer groups
We encourage all in our congregation to find a friend or two, and commit to meeting to pray regularly.
